Dior by Mitchel Maer Emerald waterfall chocker
This is a very dramatic signed chocker from the 1950s It is made of rhodium plated metal which is still in shiny excellent condition. The waterfall design chocker is decorated with emerald & white color Austrian rhinestones and glass Baroque pearls (possibly made by Gripoix). At the end of the hook carries a mark of ‘Christian Dior by Mitchel Maer’. American designer Mitchel Maer worked for Dior during 1952 to 1956 and created some of the finest costume jewelry.
This is a very sought after piece for collectors of French bijoux haute couture for it really witnesses the best production and design of mid century high end costume jewelry.
