French Art Nouveau 18k leaf filigree drapery necklace

DESCRIPTION

This is a French Art Nouveau 18k drapery necklace c.1890-1900s with intricate openwork filigree and pearl decorations.

The necklace consists of 13 gold leaves and 6 big exquisite openwork filigree links; each adorned with a row of hand-wired seed pearls. While wearing, the filigree links spread out on your neck smoothly just like a falling drapery thus it is also called a drapery necklace. The chain is composed of exquisite spiral filigree links.

Please note: 2 gold wires of 1 mm inside filigree link are missing ( please see picture 2), it might not be very noticeable while wearing but please click and zoom in our pictures as part of item description.
