Portuguese Art Nouveau ribbon heart pendant

DESCRIPTION

A Special Portuguese Art Nouveau 19.2k solid gold ruby heart pendant c.1900.

The pendant exudes a luxurious touch of high-carat gold. On the upper part of the pendant is a ruby-set ribbon motif, while the highlight of the pendant is its lattice heart center within the 2 articulated lines formed kite shape down under with Greek meander border.

The sophisticated construction set with rubies and pearls shows the romantic and feminine details of the Art Nouveau style.

Please note that the right part under ribbon has an old repair.
