1927 French cherub gold pendant

DESCRIPTION

This is a finely detailed little angel pendant, featuring a composition inspired by Raphael's painting of a cherub, capturing the mischievous and adorable cherub seemingly lost in thought with a hand resting on its cheek. The back of the pendant is engraved with the year 1927, indicating that it was made in 1927 or even earlier.

The pendant is in good antique condition, showing regular signs of oxidation and wear. There is an 18ct hallmark on its bale.
