French Belle Époque diamond and pearl crescent moon brooch c.1900
This French Belle Époque crescent moon brooch from c. 1900 is crafted in 18k solid gold, set with pearls and diamonds.
The brooch features pearls and diamonds arranged in an alternating pattern, with sizes gradually increasing and then decreasing along the crescent’s curve. The meticulous craftsmanship, with each gemstone individually set, enhances the flowing lines of the crescent, creating a delicate and refined silhouette. The ends are finished with white metal, exemplifying the Belle Époque (1890–1915) era’s signature “white jewelry” elegance.
The brooch pin has a secure clasp system. It is in good antique condition, showing normal signs of oxidation and wear. As condition assessments are subjective, please click and enlarge our photos to view more detailed condition aspects as part of your evaluation.
