French Art Nouveau diamond and pearl leaf brooch c.1900

DESCRIPTION

This French Art Nouveau brooch, dating to around 1900, is crafted in 18k gold with partial silver overlay. It is set with diamonds and a baroque pearl.

Delicately formed, the brooch features a pair of mirrored leaves with graceful, organic curves. The diamond-set surfaces shimmer with life, while a baroque pearl crowns the top with soft, natural luster.

The overall silhouette is fluid and asymmetrical, capturing the hand-wrought charm and nature-inspired elegance that define the Art Nouveau movement.

The brooch is in good antique condition, showing normal signs of oxidation and wear. Some areas display more noticeable patina, and parts of the silver overlay have worn off.
