DESCRIPTION

This antique photo locket necklace from the French Belle Époque period (circa 1890) is crafted entirely in 18k solid gold and set with natural seed pearls.

The necklace features a strand of exceptionally fine seed pearls, each measuring just 1.5 mm in diameter. Every pearl is individually hand-knotted with gold wire and connected through soldered gold links—an intricate construction that speaks to the meticulous workmanship of the era.

Suspended from the chain is a heart-shaped photo locket, pavé-set with seed pearls across its front. The tightly spaced setting creates a soft, luminous surface that shimmers with quiet elegance. The overall design reflects the refined luxury of the Belle Époque, a time marked by peace, prosperity, and artistic sophistication.
