DESCRIPTION

This English Edwardian ring, hallmarked in Chester in 1908, is crafted in 18k gold and set with a banded agate and a diamond.

The ring features a substantial gold mount with softly curved claws that lift and frame the oval banded agate, creating a domed, architectural presence. The natural bands of the agate reveal layered tones and subtle depth, enhanced by a single diamond set at the apex, serving as a luminous focal point. The composition is clean and harmonious, capturing the refined elegance characteristic of the Edwardian era.

Inside the shank are multiple hallmarks, including the maker’s mark JG, the 18k gold stamp, and the Chester assay mark for 1908.
