English Victorian emerald locket with ribbon and bead design

DESCRIPTION

An early Victorian emerald locket c.1830s-1850s, English in origin.

This oval locket is fashioned in 15k gold, decorated with three dimensional ribbon and bead motifs. 4 natural emeralds of various colors are set in the front of the locket.

The glass panel on the back of the can be opened and the small piece of the fabric inside is also removable. A photo or small token can be put into locket.
