This is an Austrian Art Nouveau 2-way pendant brooch c.1900s features diamonds and natural colored gemstones. The piece is crafted with 10k gold backed silver, and it's adorned with diamonds, pink tourmalines, green tourmalines, and yellow sapphires.
The design of this pendant embodies the distinctive features of the Art Nouveau era, with its soft, flowing lines and floral motifs. The base is enriched with diamonds and intricate engravings. At the center component, you'll find three pink and green tourmalines elegantly arranged in a V shape, accompanied by three inverted V-shaped yellow sapphires. This arrangement creates a harmonious and visually appealing effect in terms of color and proportion. To allow more light to shine through, all the gemstones are set in open-back settings.
On the reverse side, the pendant features a brooch pin, while the top bale can be folded away for discreet wear. Additionally, there are hooks positioned behind the two green tourmalines, enabling the brooch to be worn as a pendant.
