French antique diamond and sapphire marquise ring
This is a marquise ring from the 1900s, originating from France, crafted entirely in 14k solid gold and adorned with diamonds and sapphires.
The ring is of a moderate size, featuring a timeless and beautiful design. The ring is set with a total of 26 diamonds of approximately 0.8ct in total, with a color/clarity grade of G-H/VS. In the center, there is a linear arrangement of five vibrant deep blue sapphires, with the estimated total of 0.75ct.
The sapphires are arranged in increasing size from both ends towards the center, while the diamonds vary in size to complement the sapphires. This not only creates a dazzling visual effect but also showcases the excellent craftsmanship and exquisite design of the piece.
Two diamonds near the ring setting extend the visual appeal, adding a touch of brilliance. The sleek lines of the shield-shaped shoulder enhance the character of the piece. The gemstones are all set by elevated prongs on open-backed settings, allowing light to enter easily and shows more fires of these precious stones.
The ring is in overall good antique condition, showing only normal oxidation and signs of wear. As the judgment of the item's condition can be subjective, please click and zoom in on our photos to examine more detailed condition aspects for your judgment.
