Italian emerald and diamond openwork dome ring c.1810
This Italian openwork dome ring, c. 1810, is crafted in 14k gold and sterling silver, set with a central emerald and diamonds.
The emerald is set in an antique closed-back setting, surrounded by an openwork floral motif adorned with diamonds. The underside of the setting (the part of the ring that touches the finger) features intricate engraving, echoing the openwork design above. The domed structure creates a strong geometric and dimensional presence.
The ring is in antique condition consistent with its age, showing normal signs of oxidation and wear. There are visible traces of ring resizing. As condition assessments are subjective, please click and enlarge our photos to view more detailed condition aspects as part of your evaluation.
