English Victorian 9k gold banded agate and diamond star orb locket pendant, c.1860–1870

DESCRIPTION

This English Victorian orb locket pendant from c.1860–1870 is crafted in 9k gold with banded agate and rose-cut diamonds, and features a glazed photo compartment on the reverse.

The orb is pierced through and finished with floral gold cap fittings, lending both structure and decorative refinement. Its bold black-and-white banded agate draws the eye to the front, where a star motif set with rose-cut diamonds radiates against the dark ground. On the reverse, the locket opens to reveal a compartment with its original glass cover and a blue textile liner.

It is in good antique condition with normal oxidation and wear. We encourage you to view the enlarged photos for a closer look at the condition.
