English Georgian garnet flower basket conversion ring

DESCRIPTION

A Garnet flower basket ring c.1830s, English in origin.

The closed-back ring head dates from Georgian era while the shank is a later conversion. The ring is crafted in 18k solid gold, bezel set with flat cut garnets of pinkish-purple and dark red color.
